the staff welcomed me so warmly (it really set the tone for my stay). a very kind porter brought my luggage up and offered wonderful tips about the area. danny, the bartender, was excellent. i felt so cared for .

i did notice the bathroom fan made quite a bit of noise and i could not find a switch to turn it off, a little bothersome at night. (i wish i had brought earplugs).

i did notice a missed housekeeper visit one day. we were in our room briefly, and she didn't return afterward.

i enjoyed the hotel's proximity to public transportation. the bart station was just a short walk away. i liked the quick access to the subway for exploring. the bar staff was friendly and gave good recommendations.

the air conditioning unit in the room was a bit loud. i still slept fine though.
